Hello, welcome to ENL!

My name is Sarah Campbell and I teach English as a New Language. I started teaching professionally in 2009. I am originally from Wichita, Kansas, but my husband got a job here in New York, so we moved to the Big Apple in May, 2012 and now we are in Westchester. I do like New York, but sometimes I feel like I am a fish out of water; the culture in NY is very different than in the Midwest! Since Covid and having our baby, we spend a lot more time at home than we used to!

During my free time, I enjoy baking, cooking, gardening, and spinning/biking. With my husband I enjoy hiking, grilling outside during good weather, and we love to travel. We also renovate houses together as a hobby and second career. We have the cutest boxer dog ever! Meet Ginger, she is like another baby for us.
I have spent a lot of time studying to be the best teacher I can be. I hold a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature, B.S. Modern Language Education, and M.A. Second Language Acquisition, M.S. Curriculum & Instruction, and I am about to graduate with my doctorate! Learning is a life long journey!
